Ramblings of a Grouch

Wa-hey - finally finished half the kitchen!

Spent the past few evenings tiling, grouting, papering, painting and generally getting in a right mess (me, not the work). I found out that jobs like this are much easier when the correct tools are used - I now have a complete set of tiling accessories to tackle the second half when the new window goes in.

Hard work? Yes, not least because most of the stuff I did was new to me. But with a bit of thought and an extra box of tiles, I made it. And very satisfying it is, too.

The next bit includes a new sink and drainer - another first for me. But I have all the tools, I have all the cupboards ready, I have a new worktop to butcher.

I'm ready! Bring on the window!!
